Saturday Serve Day

Join us as we Serve Our City from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, April 11th. We can't gather for large workday projects together right now but we can unleash the power of the scattered people of God to invade Olive Branch (or whatever city God has you in) with the love of Jesus! Let's serve our neighborhoods, cities and counties!

Here's all we ask of you in order to be a part:

1. Pick a Serve Day Project (scroll down to see suggested Serve Day Ideas), or create your own!

2. Let us know you're in! Text us at 662.404.2489 or email us at and let us know these things:

a. Who you are.

b. What will you be doing for Serve Day.

c. How many others (if applicable) will be participating with you.

3. Serve on Saturday April 11th (if possible between 10am and 1pm) along with us.

4. Post a pic (or pics) to your favorite Social Media channel of your project and use the hashtags #CCOBServeDay and #ForOB.

Remember, "By the blessing of the upright, a city is exalted." As we exalt (lift up) our city, God is using us to bring glory to His Son Jesus!

Serve Day Ideas

The sky is the limit for a Serve Day Project - get as creative as you like! Just please ensure that you can practice proper social distancing doing whatever you choose. Here are some ideas to get your creative juices flowing:

  • Wash your neighbor's car or cut their grass (or both!)
  • Bake cookies for your neighbors or for a friend going through a tough time
  • Write letters or cards of encouragement to friends or coworkers who you miss seeing right now (this is a great one to get kids involved with!)
  • Pick up groceries for an elderly or immunocompromised person who shouldn't go out right now.
  • Etc

Again, these are just a few to get you started. Here are some good questions to ask yourself that might help you find the right project(s):

  • What am I skilled or gifted to do that can bless others?
  • Who do I know who has been particularly adversely affected by COVID-19? (physically, emotionally, financially, etc)
  • Who do I miss the most right now?
  • Who has God placed on my heart in this season?

Pray over these ideas and questions and believe God to help you find a safe and impactful way to serve!
